The “Family Livelihood” project is a youth volunteering initiative for ages 15 to 18. The project aims to elevate the value and importance of volunteering among young people and to equip volunteers with essential skills that will later help them integrate into academia and the job market.
In addition to their weekly volunteer work, participants receive various educational workshops throughout the year designed to develop their social and practical skills, refine their personalities, and strengthen their self-confidence. The program also focuses on developing competencies and educational achievements.
At Amanina, we believe that the volunteers’ weekly gatherings play a crucial role in shaping and forming their future outlook. Therefore, through diverse activities, we strive to nurture and develop their skills while spreading the spirit of volunteering and community engagement.

The idea of the “Midad” project emerged from the realities and needs of young people in our Arab community.
The project aims to enhance social participation among unframed youth aged 17–26, meaning those who lack a social, economic, or professional framework to support them—especially after completing high school. The project encourages year-long social participation through peak activity days that include fieldwork and tours, as well as planning and creating social initiatives, alongside building sustainable infrastructure for social engagement in Umm al-Fahm.
In cooperation with the local authority in Umm al-Fahm—particularly the Department of Welfare and Social Services and youth development officials—the program seeks to provide a comprehensive framework that places youth at the center. The program includes five hours of weekly activity, incorporating workshops and educational days that provide skills and personal capacity-building such as critical and creative thinking, digital literacy, self-awareness, self-direction, and more. It also includes workshops on social leadership, social change-making, strategic planning for community participation, and other topics.
In partnership with Bank Hapoaim, Amanina distribute 55 scholarship each year to encourage higher education among the Arab society.
The project’s main focus is on financial education and social responsibility – equipping youth with the knowledge and tools to make sound financial decisions and build legitimate pathways to economic stability. In each cohort, 50 university students that get accepted into the program are provided with scholarships and volunteer in educational and community projects focused on financial literacy and smart consumerism.
In addition to that, through the unique model of the program, the university students learn personal development skills and received training in AI tools, LinkedIn, interview and job preparation, stress management, and communication, while sharing the knowledge gained by becoming a financial education ambassador in their own community.

This project is our very first initiative and our favorite—and it is the source of our name: Amanina.
The project focuses on fulfilling the wishes of sick children and alleviating the burden of illness by organizing activities and trips that bring joy into their lives. In addition, our volunteers carefully support the education of hospitalized children and provide them with gifts to brighten their days during difficult times.
This project is not merely a humanitarian effort—it is a life story embodied in hope and highlights the power of solidarity and giving within our community.
The noble goal of the “My Role Model” project is to strengthen young people’s sense of capability and to create motivation and ambition, enabling them to integrate smoothly into universities and academic specializations after high school, or to choose professional paths aligned with the job market—paths that allow them to grow, develop, and achieve their goals. This approach helps steer students away from crime, violence, and risks that may affect them during this critical age.
Through the project, students are exposed to inspiring figures from their own towns who serve as role models. These individuals were once the same age as the students and faced similar challenges, yet despite those difficulties, they achieved meaningful success within their communities.
These influential and inspiring figures meet with students to share their stories—not to give direct instructions or guidance, but to inspire and expose them to possibilities. In doing so, students realize that the challenges they face today were once faced by these successful individuals, who overcame them and became role models and sources of inspiration for others.
This project is the result of joint efforts and continuous support from Strauss Group, now for the third consecutive year.
