Amanina

About Us

Building Trust and Connection

Amanina was founded in 2014 to address a critical gap in Arab society: the significantly low rate of volunteerism (9.2% compared to 24% in Jewish society) and the lack of meaningful volunteer frameworks for Arab youth. We identified this as both a challenge and an opportunity to create social change.

Vision

We envision a thriving Arab society where volunteering is the cornerstone of social mobility, enabling individuals to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

Mission

Amanina fosters social mobility in Arab society through volunteering. We create quality volunteering programs for youth. We create quality volunteering opportunities that develop personal leadership, social skills, & entrepreneurial spirit. Through these experiences, volunteers gain vital human & social capital, enhancing their own growth & potential. This individual-focused approach promotes social mobility & personal thriving.

Our Theory of Change

IF we create a large number of quality volunteering opportunities, THEN we will increase human capital and social capital, WHICH will lead to enhanced social and economic mobility for Arab society
